One-Pan Taco Skillet
Get ready to throw everything in a pan and call it Taco Tuesday! This easy One-Pan Taco Skillet is on the table in less than thirty minutes, and is a kid-friendly family favorite. Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free optional.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Beef, Lean or Turkey, Ground

- 111 Onion, Small, chopped
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Long Grain Rice (If using instant rice, follow package directions for the correct amount of water)
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Water, (or broth for more flavor)
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Tomato Sauce, (or your favorite marinara)
- 111 Black Beans, can (drained &, rinsed

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Corn, (thaw if, frozen
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large skillet, brown and crumble ground beef. Drain excess grease.
- Add onions to the pan and cook a few minutes until softened.
- Add water, tomato sauce and taco seasoning, mix well.
- Let the liquid come to a boil, then add rice. Lower heat. Cover and cook rice according to package directions until tender. Stir halfway through and add a little more water if needed.
- Chop up your veggies and prep other toppings while the rice is cooking.
- When the rice is finished cooking, remove lid and stir in beans and corn. Mix well.
- Add desired toppings & enjoy!
