Prosciutto & Fresh Mozzarella Toast
Crunchy, sweet, spicy, and salty all in one bite! You have to make this super easy recipe!
Ingredients
- 5 pieces5 pieces5 pieces Sourdough Bread
- 500 gram500 gram500 gram Prosciutto
- 200 gram200 gram200 gram Fresh Mozzarella
- 5 tsp5 tsp5 tsp Sea Salt, (I used Zoë Pyramid Salt)
- 5 tsp5 tsp5 tsp Black Pepper, (I used Zoë ground pepper)
- 5 Tbsp5 Tbsp5 Tbsp Hot Honey (Zoë Olive Oil)
- 5 tsp5 tsp5 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil, (I used Zoë Olive Oil brand)
- 5 tsp5 tsp5 tsp Chili Flakes, (optional, for garnish)

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Heat a non-stick pan over the stovetop to medium heat
- Butter both sides of each piece of bread
- Place bread onto the pan and cook until golden brown on each side (approx 3 min per side)
- Remove bread from pan and allow to cool on a wire wrack
- Once cooled, add 2 pieces of prosciutto to each slice
- Place broken-up pieces of your fresh mozzarella on top of the prosciutto
- Season to taste with salt, pepper, chili flakes, olive oil, and hot honey
- Serve with additional honey on the side for dipping
- Enjoy!
Notes
You can customize this with basil, burrata, balsamic glaze, etc.
