These delicious bars are made with just a few wholesome ingredients and are naturally sweetened with dates and pure maple syrup!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare your dates by removing the pits.
  2. Add dates, maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla extract, and salt to a food processor and process until nearly smooth.
  3. Add the protein powder (add as little or as much as desired!) and puff cereal, process until well combined.
  4. Line a loaf pan with unbleached parchment paper and press the mixture evenly and firmly into the pan. Chill in the refrigerator or freezer for 60 minutes to set.
  5. Use the overhanging liner to lift mixture onto a cutting board and cut into 9 bars.
  6. Enjoy immediately or place your date bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Notes

Recipe can easily be doubled and placed in an 8x8 pan!
