Sourdough Discard Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Homemade Sourdough Starter, Discard or Starter
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Banana, overly ripe and mashed
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Coconut Oil, melted
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Pastured Eggs
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
Dry Ingredients
- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1.5 tsp1.5 tsp1.5 tsp Baking Soda
- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Sea Salt
Fold In
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Baking Chocolate Chips, I like chocolate chunks from Thrive Market

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine wet ingredients.
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Combine wet with dry ingredients until there are no lumps.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Allow to sit for 30 minutes so the flour can fully incorporate and the sourdough starter/discard can do a little work.
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350F and line a bread pan with parchment paper. (Ball up parchment under running water and then squeeze excess water out, this makes it more pliable to fit into a bread pan.)
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 50-55 minutes.
