Take sparkling cider to the next level with a little bit of honey and lemon. This recipe is allergy friendly (gluten, dairy, shellfish, nut, egg, and soy free) and suits the autoimmune protocol diet (AIP), paleo diets.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Combine the honey and water in a small bowl or ramekin.
  2. Heat it in the microwave for 15-30 seconds to make quick simple syrup.
  3. Remove the bowl from the microwave and let cool in the refrigerator.
  4. While the simple syrup is cooling, squeeze the juice from each lemon wedge into a champagne glass.
  5. Once the simple syrup has cooled (to at least room temperature), pour equal amounts into each champagne glass.
  6. Pour equal amounts of the sparkling cider into each glass and then serve.
