Strawberry Basil Spritzer (Mocktail)
A light and refreshing non-alcoholic drink for the summer season using fresh strawberries and basil.
Ingredients
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Strawberries
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole fresh Basil, large leaves
- .5-1 tsp.5-1 tsp.5-1 tsp Granulated White Sugar, Optional
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Ice Cubes
- 12 oz12 oz12 oz Sparkling Water, Lemon Flavored

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Trim the top and slice the 2 strawberries and place them into a serving glass.
- Add the 2 basil leaves to the serving glass.
- If using sugar add that to the serving glass.
- Using a muddler or the back of a spoon muddle the strawberries, basil and sugar, until the strawberries are really mushy.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Pour the sparkling lemon water over the strawberries and ice then stir to mix it all together.
