Ingredients
- 10 oz10 oz10 oz Frozen Strawberries
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Cane Sugar
- 0.666 cup0.666 cup0.666 cup Milk
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Vanilla Yogurt, I use 4% siggis
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Collagen, optional
Process
- Heat a saucepan to medium heat and cook strawberries with sugar until soft and syrupy.
- Blend the strawberry sauce with the rest of the ingredients until creamy. Pour into creami container and freeze for 18-24 hours.
- Remove from freezer. Add a tablespoon of milk. Hit “lite” ice cream mode button and spin. More than likely it won’t be creamy so hit respin until mixture is thick but creamy. Serve immediately
Notes
This recipe is for the Ninja Creami Deluxe size I like to add some protein to this recipe but it is totally optional and you can use whatever plain or vanilla protein you prefer. I've tried this recipe without cooking down the strawberries but it did not yield a strong strawberry flavor or creamy texture. It is an extra step but I have found it really pays off.
