The Best Tuna Salad
If you have a craving for tuna salad, this is the one to make. Full of so much flavor from veggies, red onion, olives, and sweet and spicy peppers. This is my favorite tuna salad to make, and my favorite to eat!
Ingredients
- 10 oz10 oz10 oz Canned Tuna, (2 cans)
- 111 Red Bell Pepper, diced
- 111 Carrots, medium, peeled and finely diced
- 2 pieces2 pieces2 pieces Celery, diced
- 1 pieces1 pieces1 pieces Green Onion (Scallion), chopped
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Red Onion, finely diced
- 555 pepperoncini peppers, We use the "sweet heat" ones that are less spicy, and a bit sweet
- 3/4 cup3/4 cup3/4 cup Black Olives, chopped
- 1/3 cup1/3 cup1/3 cup Mayonnaise
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large mixing bowl, crumble the canned tuna with your hands.
- Dice the red bell pepper, carrot, celery, onion, and olives. Thinly slice the scallions, and dice the sweet and spicy peppers.
- Scoop the diced veggies into the mixing bowl with the tuna, and stir to combine well.
- Add in the mayo, and stir to evenly combine.
- Enjoy with your choice of crackers or over a bed of lettuce.
