tropical teriyaki ahi tuna tacos
taco night but make it tropical 🌴🌮 seared ahi tuna, crunchy slaw, tangy pineapple, & crumbled cheese — all drizzled with huli huli teriyaki sauce (feel free to use any store bought healthier sauce!) for that ultimate island vibe. 🌺 quick, healthy, & ready in under 15 minutes!
Ingredients
- 12 - 16 oz12 - 16 oz12 - 16 oz Broccoli Slaw
- 1 - 2 cups1 - 2 cups1 - 2 cups Pineapple, Frozen, finely chopped
- Corn Tortilla

- seared ahi tuna (click for recipe)
- Cotija Cheese, or queso fresco
- Cilantro, finely chopped

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- make a batch of huli huli teriyaki sauce or use a low-sugar teriyaki sauce
- to a skillet, add broccoli slaw & pineapple; saute for 8-10 minutes.
- add ¼ cup huli huli teriyaki sauce + ¼ cup water to veggies; simmer for 5 minutes or until ready to build tacos.
- slightly warm corn tortillas to make them more pliable.
- make seared ahi tuna following my recipe, then slice.
- to a warmed tortilla, add sauteed broccoli slaw & pineapple, ahi tuna, cotija or queso fresco cheese, & garnish with cilantro.
