Whipped vanilla topping
This whipped topping can go on an ice cream cake, cheesecake, trifle or stand alone to dip strawberries in!
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup1.5 cup1.5 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a medium bowl add heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract
- Take a hand mixer and low speed start to incorporate the ingredients together
- For 2 minutes switch the speed on medium in order to stiffen the mixture
- Once the mixture is light and fluffy utilize this on/with the dessert of your choosing
- Store in the fridge or freezer
- **After 5 days in the fridge/freezer the Vanilla flavoring decreases
Notes
The type of Vanilla extract you use matters! As the Vanilla flavor comes out nicely in the whipped topping. Pure extract or a Vanilla bean paste help to enhance the flavor.
