White Cheddar Cheez-Its
Sometimes it feels easier to buy snacks from the store. However, when you can make homemade Cheez-Its and they only take a handful of ingredients, it almost feels as easy as going to the store and buying them.
Ingredients
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups White Cheddar Cheese
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Butter, Unsalted, Softened

- 2 cups2 cups2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 - 4 Tbsp2 - 4 Tbsp2 - 4 Tbsp Water Chestnut

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 375°. Line of baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, add all of your ingredients. Blend together until the dough has formed. You may need to add more water to make the dough perfect consistency.
- Roll dough onto a flowered surface. Cut into squares. Find something in your kitchen to poke small holes onto each cracker. I used a medicine syringe and it worked perfect. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Place each cracker onto the parchment paper. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crackers are perfectly cooked, and crispy.
- Enjoy!
Notes
These can be stored in a Ziploc baggie on the counter. Ours only lasted about three days Before they were all eaten! I think they would last longer though!
