Whole30 Sweet & Sour Sauce (Edit recipe)

Sauces can make a Whole30 easier and more enjoyable. I use this sweet and sour sauce all the time, even when I'm not on a round of Whole30. It tastes just like the sauce my mom would make growing up, without the added sugar.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a small saucepan, add the pineapple juice, coconut aminos, ketchup, and white wine vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. In a small dish, whisk the tapioca flour and water together.
  3. Slowly whisk the tapioca flour mixture into the sauce and continue simmering until the sauce thickens.
  4. Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
