Copycat Tastykake Chocolate Frosted Mini Donuts
Gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar FREE version of your favorite childhood snack- tastykake frosted mini donuts! These have a cakey inside and a rich, smooth chocolate coating that are delicious dipped in milk of choice, or just as a snack on their own!
Ingredients
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Almond Flour
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Oat Flour
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Vanilla Protein Powder, Or more oat flour
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Banana, Small, mashed. Or half of large
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 2 - 3 Tbsp2 - 3 Tbsp2 - 3 Tbsp Almond Milk
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Coconut Oil

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine donut ingredients together until smooth
- Pour into piping bag or ziplock with hole cut in corner, and pipe into mini donut pan
- Bake at 350 for 6 minutes
- Remove from donut pan and cool
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil together
- Dip each donut in melted chocolate, then place on parchment paper or wire rack until chocolate hardens
