Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- - Preheat oven to 350F. Turn skillet to med-low and place butter in pan. Keep stirring until butter melts and begins to foam around edges. After about 3-5 minutes, your butter will turn a light brown color. Let cool for at least 20 minutes.
- - In a large mixing bowl beat cooled butter and sugars together until thoroughly combined. Add baking soda, spices, and salt. Mix well.
- - Add eggs and vanilla and continue to mix. Slowly mix flour into wet ingredients, I do about 1/4 cup at a time.
- - Once mixture is combined, slowly add oats and any additional mix-ins.
- - Use a cookie scoop or spoon to add dough onto a cookie sheet.
- - Bake for about 12-14 minutes.
- - Remove and cool on a wire rack.
