Caramel Apple Protein Yogurt Cup
A sweet & creamy apple treat that’s perfect for fall! Simple to make, packed with protein, and the 4 ingredient caramel sauce will have you licking the bowl!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt, thick like Fage brand
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder, or one serving
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Apple, Green, peeled and chopped
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Graham Crackers
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Almond Butter

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Maldon Sea Salt Flakes

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Prepare caramel topping. In a small microwave safe bowl, add maple syrup & coconut oil. Microwave for 30 seconds or until oil is melted. Remove from microwave and whisk in almond butter & sea salt until fully combined and glossy. It will thicken as you whisk and also as it cools. Allow to cool in the fridge for approximately 10 minutes.
- Add all other ingredients (greek yogurt, protein powder, chopped apples, & graham crackers) to the cup of an immersion blender or to a small food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag & swirl into your favorite serving glass (or scoop into your favorite bowl!).
- 3. Drizzle caramel sauce on top & add optional toppings Ike crushed pecans, flakey salt, or chocolate sauce and enjoy!
Notes
plant based protein will make this thick whereas whey will make it a thinner consistency - both work taste-wise but will yield different textures!
