Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Combine ingredients for cookie dough, then fold in chocolate chips
  2. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and evenly press down cookie dough across bottom. Freeze while making caramel layer
  3. Soak your dates in hot water at least an hour to soften
  4. Process them with the remaining caramel ingredients until smooth
  5. Pour over cookie dough layer & freeze for 2-3 hours
  6. Melt chocolate and coconut oil, pour evenly over caramel, sprinkle with sea salt & freeze until chocolate hardens, just a few more minutes
  7. Cut into 16+ squares and enjoy!
  8. Can get messy as the caramel won't fully freeze, but still absolutely delicious!
