Chocolate Berry Dreidels
Can you guess what’s under that chocolate dreidel? Spoiler alert: it spins just like the real deal, and underneath is a sweet surprise—a juicy strawberry!
Kids can finally play with their food in this creative snack activity that’s not only a tasty treat but also a lesson about Chanukah traditions. Beyond the fun, it’s a heartwarming opportunity for kids to learn not just about their own holidays but also about the beautiful traditions of others.
Ingredients
- 121212 Strawberries
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Baking Chocolate Chips, Melt with ½ tsp coconut oil
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup White Chocolate, Melt with ½ tsp coconut oil
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Sprinkles, We used dye-free blue and white sprinkles
- 121212 Gluten Free Pretzel Sticks

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, melt your milk chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth. Repeat the same for the white chocolate in a separate bowl.
- Insert a pretzel stick into the strawberry top.
- Dip the strawberry into chocolate using a spoon to fully cover (we did half with milk chocolate and half with white chocolate.)
- Place strawberry on parchment paper. Decorate with both your blue and white sprinkles.
- Freeze for 10 minutes so the chocolate hardens. Using a toothpick, dip into the opposite color chocolate and draw out the Hebrew letters found on a dreidel.
- Store in the fridge, and enjoy!
