Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add sliced red onion and bell peppers to the bottom of your Crockpot. Place chicken on top.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lime juice, orange juice, broth, and all the spices. Pour over chicken and veggies.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is super tender and easy to shred.
  4. Shred the chicken in the Crockpot. For crispy edges, transfer shredded chicken to a sheet pan and broil for 5–7 minutes until golden.
  5. Use in tacos, burrito bowls, salads, or with cauliflower rice! Top with avocado, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
