Dairy-Free Dulce de Leche
I had a can of sweetened condensed coconut milk that was about to expire, so I thought I'd see how it turned out if I tried to turn it into dulce de leche! It's not the same as traditional dulce de leche because the chemistry of dairy milk is different than coconut milk; but it still yields a deliciously toasty result that's irresistible. Enjoy with fruit, poured over cake or ice cream, stirred into coffee, or however you wish!
