Good for Your Gut Vodka Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 24 oz24 oz24 oz Crushed Tomatoes, strained
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Onion, organic, finely diced
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Garlic, organic, finely chopped fresh
- .75 cup.75 cup.75 cup Vodka, or potato vodka
- .333 cup.333 cup.333 cup Chicken Bone Broth
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Fresh Tarragon
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Pink Peppercorns
- Garlic Powder, to taste
- Sea Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- .333 cup.333 cup.333 cup Heavy Cream (Whipping Cream), (grass-fed)
- 3 sprigs3 sprigs3 sprigs fresh Basil, minced

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Sautee onion, fresh garlic, dry basil and dry oregano in olive oil on high heat until translucent and the garlic starts to brown on the edges. Add vodka to the pan and reduce it by half, approximately 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer until liquid is reduced by half. Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper additional garlic and simmer over low heat with the lid partially covered to allow steam to escape for approximately 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Stir in cream, and let it cook until it begins to simmer. Once it starts to bubble, remove from heat and add fresh basil.
