Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Fill a medium pot with water and bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add the green beans to the pot. Boil for about 5 minutes.
  2. Immediately remove the green beans and place them in an ice bath. Set aside.
  3. In a large sauté pan on medium heat, add the pancetta and cook until it's crispy. The time will vary depending on the thickness of your pancetta.
  4. Add the green beans, dried figs, and sea salt. Toss everything together and continue cooking until the green beans are hot, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the toasted almonds on top and serve.
