This Hawaiian Chicken & Pineapple is on repeat all year round. Summertime grilling or indoors in the Ninja Grill because the winters here are too long to go without this delicious dish! The chicken is marinated in a tangy sauce that's made with bone broth for extra nutrients! Then it's grilled and served over the pineapple that has also been grilled. Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Whisk together juice, ketchup, coconut aminos, broth, hot sauce. garlic & ginger
  2. Pat chicken pieces dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  3. Marinate chicken at least 1 hour & up to overnight (you will reserve this marinade)
  4. Grill pineapple wedges & move to a plate
  5. Remove thighs and pour marinade into a saucepan & whisk in arrowroot
  6. Bring to a boil till it thickens
  7. Remove from heat and use this to baste the chicken while it grills
  8. Grill approximately 20-30 minutes depending how big the chicken thighs are
  9. Serve over pineapple wedges and garnish with green onions
