Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Ground Lamb
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Peppercorns, Ground Fresh
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Onion Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Cumin, Ground
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Za'atar
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Green Seasoning (click for recipe)
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Kosher Salt, to taste
For feta YogurtSauce
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Feta Cheese
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Mayonnaise
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Plain Greek Yogurt

For the Meatballs
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients together.
- Using a gloved hand or wooden spoon, mix to incorporate all ingredients. Do not overmix, this will result in a tough meatball.
- Heat a medium saucepan, add oil and 1tsp of the meat mixture. Cook thoroughly and taste for season. Adjust if needed.
- Using a medium size portioning scoop, form balls and rest on parchment lined baking sheet tray.
- Preheat oven to 385 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Sear balls, on each side until golden brown to lock in moisture but not fully cooked.
- Return balls to sheet tray and bake for 12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 155 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Serve meatballs with sides of choices or simply enjoy by themselves.
For the Feta Yogurt Sauce
- In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
