Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat your oven to bake at 350 degrees.
  2. In a large cast iron skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Strain off any excess liquid from the meat, and season with the Taco Seasoning.
  4. Pour the corn chips onto a large rimmed baking sheet, and top the chips with the ground meat.
  5. In the skillet that cooked the ground meat, add the refried beans to warm in the skillet, stirring all of the flavors remaining from cooking the ground beef into the refried beans.
  6. Once the refried beans are soft and smooth from heating, smooth the refried beans over the ground beef.
  7. Top with the cheese, and then bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the chips are crispy.
  8. While the nachos are in the oven, prep the veggies. Dice the tomato and onion, slice the olives, chop the lettuce and cilantro.
  9. Top the hot nachos with the tomato, red onion, olives, lettuce, and cilantro.
  10. Serve each portion topped with sour cream and a squeeze of lime juice.
