Matcha Latte – Earth Day version! (Edit recipe)

A matcha latte to celebrate Earth Day, Mother Nature and all her beautiful spaces. Filled with colors of the amazing sphere we inhabit as well as good for you ingredients. A layer of butterfly pea powder, milk infused with collagen and white chia seeds then topped off with the ever delicious matcha! All over ice for a perfectly splendid beverage! My inspiration for this came via an email from Jade Leaf Matcha today celebrating Earth Day. I kicked up the protein with the addition of vanilla collagen and chia seeds!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Blue layer: mix water and sifted pea powder together, stirring/frothing well to combine.
  2. Matcha layer: mix water and sifted matcha together, stirring/frothing well to combine.
  3. Milk layer: stir milk, collagen and chia seeds together, frothing to fulling combine.
  4. Assemble: pour blue layer into the bottom of your glass, add ice then slowly pour in the vanilla milk/chia mixture followed by the matcha.
  5. Swirl, sip and enjoy!

Notes

I use organic Jade Leaf BARISTA MATCHA and have for years, hands down my favorite! I've also been using Suncore foods BUTTERFLY PEA POWDER as well as their WHITE CHIA SEEDS for many years as well.
