it's definitely the time of year in the mid-west we could all use an escape to hawaii! while hawaiian pizza is most certainly NOT authentic hawaiian cuisine, I like thinking I am getting a little tropical flare here in the midwest!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. optional: sauté pineapple & ham to get a little crispy & caramelized before building flatbreads.
  2. in a small bowl, mix together bbq sauce & cottage cheese.
  3. to each cauliflower bun (or tortilla) add a layer of bbq mixture, then add ham, pineapple, & cheese.
  4. add flatbreads to a pan & cook until cheese is melted.
  5. garnish with cilantro.
