Monster Brownie Bars
I posted these on instagram and they got a few rave reviews! So they need a permanent spot here. These are flourless and technically gluten free & dairy free, but you may never know it. These are lower in sugar by using cacao powder for the chocolate flavor, sweetened with 100% pure maple syrup. The ooey gooey texture reminds me of brownies my mom made when we were growing up!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Eggs
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Coconut Sugar
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Coconut Oil, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Baking Soda
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Salt
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Milk Chocolate (Plain) M&M's

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat your oven to 350f.
- Prepare your 8x8 baking dish with spray oil or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine wet ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients (except for M&M’s).
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish. It will be thick and sticky but I spray a rubber spatula with spray oil so it’s easier to smooth out.
- Top with M&Ms.
- Bake for about 24 minutes. Let cool, cut into 9 bars and enjoy!
