I posted these on instagram and they got a few rave reviews! So they need a permanent spot here. These are flourless and technically gluten free & dairy free, but you may never know it. These are lower in sugar by using cacao powder for the chocolate flavor, sweetened with 100% pure maple syrup. The ooey gooey texture reminds me of brownies my mom made when we were growing up!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat your oven to 350f.
  2. Prepare your 8x8 baking dish with spray oil or parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine wet ingredients.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients (except for M&M’s).
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish. It will be thick and sticky but I spray a rubber spatula with spray oil so it’s easier to smooth out.
  7. Top with M&Ms.
  8. Bake for about 24 minutes. Let cool, cut into 9 bars and enjoy!
