Mozzarella-stuffed Pull Apart Rolls (gluten-free) (Edit recipe)

Pull apart rolls are a fun appetizer or party dish to have on hand going into the holiday season. We had a great time making these with Isla, as this was her very first recipe she helped with from start to finish. The Legit Bread Pizza & Pretzel mix is a great shortcut for many recipes, this one included. We used our Amore Italian Seasoning on top, and it was delish.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare the dough according to the directions on the package.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350 F.
  3. Lightly grease a 9" circular cake pan. Cube the fresh mozzarella.
  4. In a prep bowl, whisk together the olive oil and Amore Italian Seasoning.
  5. Flour your hands with tapioca starch or arrowroot starch. Working with golf ball sized portions of dough, roll the dough into a ball, then flatten into a 4-5" pancake. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, then fold the dough around it, pinching it together at the base.
  6. Place the dough balls in the greased pan, with the crimped side down. Repeat until you have used all of your dough, making the dough balls touch. Makes approximately 15 balls of dough.
  7. Brush the dough balls with the oil and spice mixture. Sprinkle them with the Kosher Flake Salt.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes at 350, then increase the temp to 375 for a final 5 minutes.
  9. Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
