Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Sephardic Version by @LivLaughCook
  2. In a food processor, pulse together the apples, pecans, dates, apricots, spice, and almond flour until a sticky mixture forms. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Add a tsp of the charoset mixture to each date. Dunk it into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with dried fruit/nut trail mix. Drizzle almond butter on top. Put in the refrigerator to set.
  3. Ashkenazi Version by @healthy.to.the.core
  4. In a small bowl, combine almond butter, honey, cinnamon and salt. Add chopped walnuts and apples and mix well. Add a spoonful of filling to each date and lay on a parchment lined baking sheet. Then melt chocolate chips with olive oil just until combined and drizzle over dates. Top with flakey salt and refrigerate to set.
