Slow Cooker NO BOIL Mac & Cheese
This mac & cheese recipe only uses a few ingredients one of which is uncooked pasta. Make this easy comfort food in your slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Macaroni Pasta, uncooked
- 16 oz16 oz16 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups Milk, of your choice
- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Heavy Cream (Whipping Cream)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Salt
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Onion Powder
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Paprika
- .125 tsp.125 tsp.125 tsp Black Pepper
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add all ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir to mix well.
- Cook HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4-6.
Notes
There is one downfall to this recipe. If you cook this too long, it will overcook and dry out. It’s easy to over-cook. I also suggest you don’t let it sit on the WARM setting once it’s done cooking. I turn off the slow cooker off so it doesn’t continue to cook.
