Ingredients

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Pat chicken wings completely dry. Then put in the air fryer and spray with avocado oil. Cook on 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  2. While the wings are cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients (cashew butter and Spicy Cashew butter Dressing) into a small bowl and whisk together until smooth.
  3. Once wings are cooked most of the way through (about 10 minutes), put them in a bowl and pour the wing sauce on top. Toss the wings until they are fully coated. Save extra sauce for dipping!
  4. Place coated chicken wings back in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

If you don’t have Trader Joe’s near you or don’t have the Spicy Cashew butter Dressing on hand, you can use the same amount of cashew butter and add 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar, 1 tbsp Sriracha, 2 tbsp coconut aminos, and 1 tsp garlic powder. If you are using the oven, broil the wings for a couple minutes at the end to crisp them up. I really like Artisana Organics Cashew butter and Georgia Grinders Cashew butter, but any will do. These wings are not Whole30 compatible because the Spicy Cashew butter Dressing has some maple syrup in it, but you can use the recipe above to create your own!
