ultimate holiday protein puppy chow
if you haven't checked out seven sunday's oat protein cereal, it is hands down the BEST cereal for puppy chow. this is such a fun holiday variation on my other protein puppy chow recipes. adding in salty pretzels, yummy chocolate gems, & the nutty coconut flakes makes this puppy chow a knock out!
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Organic Creamy Peanut Butter
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Sugar-free Dark Chocolate Chips
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Simply Honey Oat Protein Cereal - Seven Sundays
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Sea Salt - Fit Joy Grain Free Pretzel Sticks
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup unsweetened Coconut Flakes
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Sugar-Free Chocolate Gems - Lakanto
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Chocolate Protein Powder - Be Well by Kelly
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder - Be Well by Kelly
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Sea Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- to a saucepan, melt peanut butter & dark chocolate chips over low heat.
- to a large bowl, add cereal, pretzels, & coconut flakes, then pour melted peanut butter & dark chocolate over top; combine.
- pour onto a lined baking sheet & refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- add puppy chow, chocolate gems, protein powder, & sea salt to a gallon size bag & mix well.
- freeze for at least 30 minutes & store puppy chow in the freezer.
