i am a sucker for a good ole can of tuna. i know the smell can be a little off putting, BUT if you can get past that part it is such an easy, affordable, & IMO delicious source of protein. here I transform your typical tuna melt using 3 different cuisines - korean, italian, & moroccan. no more boring tuna melts in this house!
P.S. here are some other delicious recipes using my homemade grain-free bread:
    1. apple & bacon tuna melt
    2. smoked tapenade tuna toast
    3. chopped cobb salad sandwich
    4. superfood crostini

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. in a small bowl, combine tuna & choose variation of choice to mix with (except the cheese).
  2. option to warm in microwave for 30-60 seconds.
  3. to a slice of bread, add tuna mixture & top with cheese of choice.
  4. add tuna melt to a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to “toast” bottom of bread (this is the best way to toast my homemade bread), then add a lid to the skillet to melt the cheese.
