Sausage Gravy

- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Breakfast Sausage, ground
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Whole Milk
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

- In a large sauté pan, brown the ground sausage until fully cooked. Set aside on a plate with a paper towel.
- To the same pan, add butter to a pan and let it melt.
- Add in the flour and whisk to incorporate. Let bubble until it forms a paste.
- Pour in the milk, whisk, and bring to a rolling boil.
- To the milk mixture, pour back the sausage and stir to combine. Let the mixture bubble and thicken on a low flame for 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve over biscuits, croissants, topped with a fried egg, or challah bread.
