Blackberry Ice Cream in a Jar
Blackberry Ice Cream, the sweet decadence of summer, that can be enjoyed any time of the year! All you need is a few simple ingredients to enjoy this sweet treat any time of year!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Heavy Cream (Whipping Cream)
- 3/4 cup3/4 cup3/4 cup Blackberries
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Raw Sugar
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Purple Food Coloring, 4 drops, optional
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a bowl mash the blackberries with a fork to bring out the juice.
- Then add the heavy cream, blackberries, sugar, vanilla, and food coloring (if you want it to be really purple) to a jar.
- Put the lid on the jar and shake it until the ingredients are combined (about 30 seconds.)
- Take the lid off the jar and place the jar in the freezer for about 4 hours or until completely frozen. Enjoy!
