Cheeseburger Skillet

Ingredients

- 111 Yellow Onion, peeled & diced
- 3 cloves3 cloves3 cloves Garlic, peeled & minced
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sea Salt
- 6 oz6 oz6 oz Tomato Paste
- 14 oz14 oz14 oz Full Fat Cream Cheese
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Mexican Cheese Blend

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add bacon to a large cast-iron skillet. and bring to medium-low heat. Cook until the bacon is crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and set on a plate lined with a napkin and when cool enough to touch, crumble to use later.
- In the same cast-iron skillet with the bacon grease, add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and season with sea salt and cook, breaking up with a wood spoon or spatula, until the beef has browned, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in tomato paste and cream cheese until very creamy.
- Top with shredded cheese and transfer to your oven’s broiler and allow the cheese to fully melt and bubble. This will take about 3-5 minutes (check after 3 minutes to ensure your cheese does not burn).
- Remove from the oven and top with crumbled bacon.
