Chocolate Banana Bark
The viral chocolate banana bark has become famous for good reason! It's so easy to make, requires no baking time, and is made with just six simple ingredients. I put my own twist on this viral recipe by adding some protein powder! It's so tasty and such a perfect snack to keep in the freezer for when you're craving something sweet.
Ingredients
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Banana, whole, (sliced (medium-sized and not too ripe) )
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Vegan Protein Powder, Good Protein Banana Cream protein powder
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Creamy Peanut Butter, natural
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1.25 cup1.25 cup1.25 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt, flaky, (to top (optional) )

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
- Peel two medium-sized ripe bananas and cut into slices, about 1/4 of an inch thick. Place all banana slices close together on your lined baking tray and place in the freezer to set.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together protein powder, maple syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
- Remove banana slices from freezer and spread peanut butter layer on top of banana slices. Place back in the freezer.
- In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 25-30 second increments, stirring between each increment until chocolate is fully melted.
- Pour melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread out with a spoon until all of the bark is covered. Optionally top your bark with some flaky salt, then place back in the freezer to set for 20-30 minutes.
- Remove from the freezer, cut into 15 squares and enjoy!
