Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packaging.
- Heat a large cast iron or stainless steel skillet or saute pan over medium heat.
- Brown the ground turkey and pork together in the pan.
- Scoop the browned ground meat out of the pan into a clean bowl, and discard all of the liquid from the pan.
- Over medium heat, add the diced onion, celery, mushrooms and broccoli, and saute until they soften, about 5-7 minutes, turning down the heat if needed.
- Once the veggies have softened, add the ground meat back to the pan, and stir to evenly combine with the veggies.
- In a small mason jar with a lid, combine the coconut aminos, tamari, toasted sesame oil, and Citrus Stir Fry Seasoning. Seal the jar with a lid and shake to combine.
- Pour the sauce over the meat and veggies in the pan, and stir to evenly combine.
- Turn the heat back up to medium-medium high heat, and stir often as the sauce reduces slightly. Cook the meat and veggies in the sauce for about 5 minutes, and then add in the cabbage mix, and stir to combine. The cabbage will soften very quickly, and once it is fully combined with the rest of the dish, it will be finished.
- Serve the meat and veggie mixture over rice. Top with thinly sliced scallions, and enjoy with roasted seaweed if desired.
