Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Grass Fed Gelatin
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Water, Cool
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Cane Sugar, Organic
- 6 Tbsp6 Tbsp6 Tbsp Water
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Stir together gelatin and ¼ cup cool water in a large mixing bowl. (If you’ll be using your stand mixer, that’s the bowl you’ll want to use.)
- Combine sugar, water, honey, & vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches a temp of 238-240 F. This took about 10-12 minutes
- Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer with a whisk attachment, set mixer on low and slowly pour hot syrup over gelatin in mixing bowl. When thoroughly combined, increase speed to high. Beat until mixture becomes lukewarm and starts to get stretchy. I used a hand mixer and it took about 7 minutes
- Store in an airtight jar in the fridge
Notes
if using for another recipe I recommend making this right before. It gets stickier overtime, but you can slightly warm it in the microwave to loosen it back up
