Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Chop the spring onions and rinse the chicken livers thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Melt the butter and add the onions, cooking until theyu2019re soft and golden brown.
- Add the chicken livers and cook on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until the livers are no longer pink. They should be tender chicken livers with a grayish color.
- Stir in the dried herbs, black pepper, and garlic powder. Pour in the warm water and mix in the xanthan gum to create a light gravy. Add the bay leaf and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Notes
- Cook the livers fully to 165 °F (74 °C) internal temperature.
