This delicious spicy and tangy dressing is inspired by the very popular Laotian sweet and sour dipping sauce (Jeow som). By adding olive oil to the mix, it is perfect for grilled meat and Asian inspired salads. Let the ingredients infuse in the oil, and you’ll have a mouth watering dressing for your salads and proteins!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add garlic, shallots, chilies, and jalapeño(s) to a mortar and pestle and roughly pound.
  2. Add in the allulose, sea salt, black pepper, fish sauce, fresh lime juice, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil and stir well.
  3. Add in the chopped scallions, cilantro, and kaffir lime leaves. Mix and allow to infuse for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Fresh mint leaves can be used to substitute cilantro.
