Loaded Waffle Fries
These crispy loaded waffle fries are so delicious. Made using US Wellness Meats ground beef seasoned perfectly and topped with the most delicious Salsa Con Queso from Drippy Dip. Then you can add all the toppings you love including, tomatoes, avocado, green onions, chives, parsley, etc.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb 75% Lean Ground Beef - US Wellness Meats

- 111 Taco Seasoning, use your favorite

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Salsa Con Queso Cheese Dip - Drippy Dip

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Avocado, diced
- 6 oz6 oz6 oz Tomato, Cherry, cut in half

- 22 oz22 oz22 oz Frozen French Fries, waffle fries, use 1/2 bag
- 222 Green Onion (Scallion), white and green parts

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Parsley, Flat Leaf, minced

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Chives, minced (optional)
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Maldon Sea Salt Flakes, (optional)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Pre-heat the oven to waffle fries package directions.
- Using half the package of waffle fries, lay them onto a parchment lined baking sheet and cook according to the package directions.
- Brown the ground beef in a medium-high skillet until no longer pink, drain any fat, then add the taco seasoning packet and follow the packet directions, adding water as needed.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
- Dice the avocado.
- Mince the parsley and chives if using.
- Once the waffle fries are crispy top them with the cooked seasoned ground beef.
- Add the salsa con queso to a small bowl and gently warm in the microwave until a bit runny then drizzle it over the ground beef.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, green onions, and the diced avocado on top of the ground beef.
- Sprinkle with the parsley flakes, chives and sea salt flakes if using.
Notes
I like to serve this on the baking sheet. Lining it with parchment paper before baking the waffle fries makes for easier cleanup. I only use 1/2 bag of waffle fries. You can add more cheese if you like it super cheesy.
