A 3-ingredient peanut butter rice krispy base topped with vanilla ice cream that is swirled with your jam of choice creates the easiest, most delicious 5 ingredient PB&J Ice Cream Sandwiches. Naturally gluten-free and easily made vegan or dairy-free!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Combine 2 cups rice Krispy cereal, 1/3 cup peanut butter and 1/4 cup honey in a bowl.
  2. Press firmly into a lined 8x8 pan.
  3. Spread softened ice cream over top, then add jam and swirl into ice cream.
  4. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  5. Combine remaining rice crisp cereal, peanut butter and honey, then press over top of ice cream.
  6. Freeze overnight, then slice into squares.

Notes

Use a dairy-free or vegan ice cream as well as maple syrup to make these vegan.
