Pineapple Habanero glazed meatballs
Hearty ground beef meats with a sweet and spicy pineapple Habanero glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb 85% Lean Ground Beef - US Wellness Meats
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Onion Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- 0.50.50.5 Orange Bell Pepper
- 0.125 cup0.125 cup0.125 cup Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs, plain
- 111 Egg
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Garlic, seasoning
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Lawry’s Seasoning Salt, low sodium
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs, plain
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Pineapple Habanero Jam - Profanity Jam
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Plant-Based Butter, Unsalted
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Honey
Pineapple habanero glaze
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large bowl combine ground beef (unthawed), breadcrumbs, chopped bell pepper, egg and all seasonings
- Use a large spoon to thoroughly mix ingredients together
- Using your hands and kitchen scale roll the ground beef into 51g meatballs
- Place meatballs on a baking tray and place in the freezer for 10 minutes (this helps them to keep their shape)
- In a large pan on medium heat add 1 tbsp Avocado oil or oil of your choice
- Place meatballs in pan rotating every 5-6 minutes for a total of 15-20 minutes
- Once cooked Place on top of a paper towel absorb oil
- In another sauce pan over medium heat melt your dairy free butter
- Then add the Profanity Jam Pineapple Habanero jam and honey
- Simmer for 5 minutes and place meatballs in the pan
- Use a spoon to fully coat the meatballs and enjoy!
