Have you ever tried to make homemade snickers before?? Well, usually it isn’t that easy because nougat is complicated, but I discovered an easy dairy free homemade snickers recipe! This homemade snickers recipe is also a high protein snack for an added nutrition bonus!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a large Pyrex, add nougat base ingredients (marshmallows, vegan butter, chocolate chips).
  2. Melt in 30 second increments, stirring between, until ingredients come together smoothly.
  3. Work quickly to pour into parchment lined loaf pan.
  4. Add peanut layer.
  5. Make caramel by adding peanut butter and dairy free butter to a bowl and again microwaving for about 30 seconds, until you can stir it to melt together.
  6. Add the rest of the caramel ingredients and stir rapidly to fully combine.
  7. Pour over peanuts.
  8. Freeze for 1+ hours, then top with melted chocolate.
  9. Freeze for an additional 10 minutes to set everything, and then slice and enjoy!
