Snickerdoodle Smoothie
I make this smoothie year round it’s that good. This snickerdoodle smoothie is made with healthy ingredients, has no banana, has hidden veggies, and is packed with protein! It’s sweetened with dates and flavored with tahini and the perfect touch of spices. It's also very creamy and makes a great balanced breakfast that tastes like dessert. This will be your new go-to smoothie this holiday season!
Ingredients
- 222 Medjool Dates, pitted
- 0.75 cup0.75 cup0.75 cup Soy Milk, or milk of choice (plus more as needed)
- 0.75 cup0.75 cup0.75 cup Frozen Cauliflower Rice
- 17 grams17 grams17 grams Vanilla Protein Powder, about 1 scoop, I like EarthChimp (optional)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Old Fashioned Oats, optional
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Tahini, sub almond or cashew butter
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Flax Seed Meal, optional
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Ground Cinnamon, add more to taste
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Cardamom Seed, ground
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch ground Nutmeg
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- First soak your dates in a small bowl of hot water for about 5 minutes. This will help them soften up so they can blend more easily. While the dates are soaking you can get all the other ingredients measured out and ready.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth, adding more milk to thin if necessary. Taste and add more spices if desired. Pour into a glass and enjoy! This recipe serves 1, but feel free to double the recipe to serve 2.
