Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- On medium heat, bring your vegetable oil in a pot on your stovetop to a slight bubble (I like to place a gnocchi inside the oil and wait until it floats to the top to know that my oil is hot enough - no special technique, lol)
- While the oil is getting hot, prepare a bowl with a paper towel to drain your gnocchi when it's out of the oil
- In a separate bowl, prepare your cinnamon and sugar mixture by stirring together your cinnamon and white sugar; set aside
- Gently drop in a handful of gnocchi into the oil and wait for it to float to the top (approx 2-3 min)
- Remove your gnocchis from the oil and allow to cool for 1 minute on your paper towel
- Toss the gnocchi in your cinnamon and sugar mixture, set aside
- Repeat for the full pack of gnocchi
- Plate as you wish with your favorite toppings (I enjoy the taste of Nutella and powdered sugar!)
Notes
You don't need a particular frying machine. Use a pot on the stove.
