warm bacon vinaigrette
bacon, quite literally, tastes good with everything. i always like to utilize leftover bacon grease & here is a unique way to use it as a salad dressing.
Ingredients
- 444 Bacon
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp White Miso Paste
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Lakanto Classic Monkfruit Sweetener (with Erythritol)
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt and Pepper
- 111 Water, to thin sauce
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- add bacon to a skillet & cook until crispy.
- remove bacon from pan & crumble - reduce heat to low on skillet.
- in a bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients.
- add sauce to bacon grease & let simmer for 10 minutes - adding water to thin as needed.
- add in bacon crumbles at the end.
- serve over any salad.
