Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Cover dates with hot water and soak for at least an hour to soften. Drain and set aside.
  2. After rinsing and draining chickpeas, pinch off skins by holding chickpea in your index finger and thumb. Skin will easily pinch off.
  3. Add chickpeas, dates, nut butter, vanilla, and sea salt to a blender.
  4. Blend on high until smooth.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Dough will firm up as it chills.

Notes

"Peeling" chickpeas isn't necessary, but it really helps the texture to be smooth! If you don't have dates, you can use 2-4 tablespoons of maple syrup
