Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. in a bowl, combine oats, nuts/seeds, & sea salt.
  3. in a sauce pan over medium heat, melt coconut oil.
  4. remove from heat, then add nut butter, maple syrup, granulated sweetener, & vanilla extract to melted coconut oil.
  5. using a large spatula, thoroughly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
  6. add granola to a quarter-sheet baking sheet.
  7. bake for 10 minutes, then take it out and mix thoroughly.
  8. press down mixture very firmly, then bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. once the granola is done baking, press firmly again. allow it to cool completely.
  10. to make reindeer bark, melt dark chocolate chips, then add a thin layer on top of cooled granola.
  11. then assemble your reindeer by adding pretzel for the ears, white chocolate for the eyes, & gems for the nose.
  12. to make melting snowman bark, melt white chocolate chips, then add a thin layer on top of cooled granola.
  13. then assemble your snowman by adding half a cookie for the hat, dark chocolate for eyes, orange sprinkle for the nose, gems for buttons, & pretzels for the arms.
  14. put in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before breaking into pieces.
  15. i like to store my bark in the freezer.
